Do Dooni Chaar

Not every film I watch inspires me to write a blog about it(though i try hard to), but this movie was different. All the movies I have been watching quite recently are good / excellent only because of contributions from technical departments in form of huge sets or extra-ordinary cinematography...
Unlike the stereo types DDC banks on human emotions, which everyone of us has confronted one time or the other in our life. The depiction of India Middle-Class is done amicably. Hats-Off to the casting director for selecting Rishi-neetu as the protagonists."Natural Actors" - is what they are in the movie.

I can't think of a section of audience(atleast in India) who wouldn't like this movie.

DOWNLOAD/STEAL/BORROW/BUY - Choose any of the above but do watch this movie.

MEDIA, SHOPPING and GANDHI

Only yesterday i was discussing with my teammates abt MEDIA's Social Responsibilities and I took media's side saying that "If you own a TV Channel, you would exactly the same they are doing".
Which pops up a question "Does a business have to be responsible?" The debate can go on and on , landing up at the inception all over again.
My take is Everybody has to be responsible irrespective of what you do.Having said that if so is the case its a HAPPY world, which is too much to ask.
So it urgeas us to lower the standards and comes to a scene where in we demand RESPONSIBILITY from BUSINESSES with an IMPACT.Unquestionably MEDIA is one among them.

I was not moved when my colleagues was taking on MEDIA on Ayodhya Issue, bcos Indian Youth has matured alot and have their own opinion and feelings about religion. Its hard to provoke youth these days considering the fact that every one is busy with their own life and they haven't got enough time in communal riots. They dont get easily carried away by bloody politician's sayings like it used to be in 90's.

I'm a whole lot disappointed today than yesterday.Reason, being GANDHI JAYANTHI i only got to see GANDHI in the third page of TOI. What happened to the notions and principals of GANDHI "FATHER OF THE NATION". Our ver own media which blasts CORRUPTED POLITICIANS, IRRESPONSIBLE CITIZENS for not taking the footsteps of GANDHI has gone out of control.

No,Seriously. Its a pity that our FATHER OF NATION could not find 4X4 space in TOI front page, where in Australian's captain Pointing's altercation with Zaheer is a hi-light. All i could see today in NEWS is DISCOUNT DHAMAKAS and LUCKY DIP SCHEMES by the Future Group.I remotely remember readin any NEWS. It was discounts and sales every where. How is it say easy for the marketing guys of the big cos to fool around people. The catch is they are just not fooling the AAM ADMI. Its the educated population of INDIA they are fooling. Why is that everybody is loosing their COMMON SENSE?

Looks like "Mr. Kishore Biyani"(titled:The Retail King of India) is the man who seems to have been using his grey matter to work. How is it that he is making so much of profits even after a new DHAMAKA DISCOUNT SALE every week?(not BIG BAZAAR alone but across all his brands).

Will we ever get redeemed of these RETAIL MANIACS?

Finally I have decided to piss on The Times Of India for showing no respect at all to the great man on his b.day.

LOVE

Being in LOVE is a different feeling altogether. You shed all your inhibitions and start being youself,as u no longer need to impresss every single girl u come across. You have already been liked by a person "THE WAY YOU ARE",boosts ur confidence proving "YOU ARE NOT A COMPLETE ASS AFTERALL".

Other advantages of LOVE is CREATIVITY. You start coining alot of words . CHUNNU , MUNNU , DUMBO , SWEETIE , CUTIE , SONE , MONU , PAPPU and likes...

All of sudden my girl has become a "CREATIVE HEAD" of our relation ship and right now at her best LINGUISTIC competencies. The other day my girl was calling me a BOOKAHOLIC.
Reason:- I was in LANDMARK going thru books, which are not even remotely of my interests, whn am supposed to be talking to her(Which has become unavoidable these days).

Moral:- LOVE IS SOME THING EACH ONE OF US SHOULD EXPERIENCE.

Catch :- wen ur single all u see is happy couples n wen ur in a relationship all u see is happy singles.

PS:- DO watch the movie "500 DAYS OF SUMMER" irrespective of ur relationship status as thr is sum thng for everybdy in tht.

"DEVELOPING" INDIA

Old Story:

The Ant works hard in the withering heat all summer building its house and
laying up supplies for the winter. The Grasshopper thinks the Ant is a fool
and laughs dances plays the summer away. Come winter, the Ant is warm and
well fed. The Grasshopper has no food or shelter so he dies out in the
cold.

New Indian Version:

The Ant works hard in the withering heat all summer building its house and
laying up supplies for the winter. The Grasshopper thinks the Ant's a fool
and laughs dances plays the summer away.

Come winter, the shivering Grasshopper calls a press conference and demands
to know why the Ant should be allowed to be warm and well fed while others
are cold and starving.

NDTV, BBC, CNN show up to provide pictures of the shivering Grasshopper
next to a video of the Ant in his comfortable home with a table filled with
food.

The World is stunned by the sharp contrast. How can this be that this poor
Grasshopper is allowed to suffer so?

-Arundhati Roy stages a demonstration in front of the Ant's house.

-Medha Patkar goes on a fast along with other Grasshoppers demanding that

-Grasshoppers be relocated to warmer climates during winter .

-Mayawati states this as 'injustice' done on Minorities.

-Amnesty International and Koffi Annan criticize the Indian Government for
not upholding the fundamental rights of the Grasshopper.

-The Internet is flooded with online petitions seeking support to the
Grasshopper (many promising Heaven & Everlasting Peace for prompt support
as against the wrath of God for non-compliance) .

-Opposition MPs stage a walkout. Left parties call for 'Bengal Bandh' in
West Bengal and Kerala demanding a Judicial Enquiry.

-CPM in Kerala immediately passes a law preventing Ants from working hard in
the heat so as to bring about equality of poverty among Ants and
Grasshoppers.

-Lalu Prasad allocates one free coach to Grasshoppers on all Indian Railway
Tains, aptly named as the 'Grasshopper Rath'.

Finally, the Judicial Committee drafts the 'Prevention of Terrorism Against Grasshoppers Act'[POTAGA], with effect from the beginning of the winter.

Arjun Singh makes 'Special Reservation' for Grasshoppers in Educational
Institutions in Government Services.

The Ant is fined for failing to comply with POTAGA and having nothing left
to pay his retroactive taxes, it's home is confiscated by the Government
and handed over to the Grasshopper in a ceremony covered by NDTV, BBC, CNN.

Arundhati Roy calls it 'A Triumph of Justice'.

Lalu calls it 'Socialistic Justice'.

CPM calls it the 'Revolutionary Resurgence of the Downtrodden'

Koffi Annan invites the Grasshopper to address the UN General Assembly.

Many years later...

The Ant has since migrated to the US and set up a multi-billion dollar

company in Silicon Valley,

100s of Grasshoppers still die of starvation despite reservation somewhere

in India ,

...AND

As a result of losing lot of hard working Ants and feeding the

grasshoppers, India is still a developing country...!!

I have no idea from whose creative mind this has come out, but this

piece of writing is awesome.
